Description

To mark the deprecation of Claws Mail in 1.8 we should replace the top bar launcher with the one of Icedove.

I’m not sure to understand the plan, but I would be in favor to simply add the Icedove icon for now, and remove the Claws-mail one later.

That’s not the idea. Icedove was added in 1.7 as a preview, Claws Mail
has to be removed in 2.0 as it will be base on Jessie. We need at least
one release where we make clear to people that now is the time to
migrate their data and that they should stop relying on Claws Mail. This
one has to be 1.8 because there won’t be any other.

I’d personally like to have more time to do such migration but here
we’re blocked by 2.0.
