Description

As some command line options for tails-installer are not currently functional, we should avoid installing tails-installer to $PATH and instead treat it as a mere helper for tails-installer-launcher. That is, do not install to /usr/bin.

We could do that via the packaging or upstream. And this will probably be reverted once we fix Feature #8549

Yay, looks good!

The thing is, if I merge and upload 4.4.3+dfsg-0tails1, then we’ll need to close Bug #10539 and create a new ticket about the regression the “fix” for it introduces (Bug #10539#note-8). So I’ll delay this a little bit, in the hope that this regression is fixed today. And if it’s not, then I’ll go ahead, upload, and do the Redmine paperwork.

Confirmed to work fine in Tails, not tested on non-Tails yet, but I see no reason why it won’t work.
