The schematics on https://tails.boum.org/doc/about/warning/ could be easier to translate by using .svg: svg files can be opened in a text editor, and the modification can be easily tracked with git.

Please report if you find other schematics requiering translation. (Notice that schematics are not the same thing as screenshots, which are evoked in ~~Feature #10438~~)

Assigning to myself as I may be able to fix this.

Those schematics[1] could do the job : svg, released in copyleft.
Next steps: download, translate in english, then build and see how it fits

Note that:

Currently SVG doesn’t work on the website, possible because boum.org lacks a library or something.
SVG might be slightly less portable than PNG and open for more security issues than PNG (you can put executable code into SVG like JavaScript). That’s relevant when talking about translations are people merging translations would have to be careful about not merging dangerous SVG files from translators. I’m not sure I personally know how to do that.

Maybe providing SVG source for translators to work with but shipping PNG files on the website and in the ISO would work as well…

Thank you sajolida.
Knowing that, and as the documentation does not include that much schematics, I think that’s easier to edit the PNG and overwrite the few english terms.
