Description

reported by two users, and commented to virt-what dev in irc.

We are dropping virt-what for Jessie but users get scared of the warning that you are running a virtual machine.

It looks like this warning is triggered by the output of

/usr/sbin/dmidecode -s system-manufacture 'Microsoft Corporation'

So virt-what thinks it is VirtualPC

Preparing a branch for the known issues list right now…

On feature/jessie we do this check differently. If it’s not affected I would just ignore this problem. I bet that Tails won’t work fine on that hardware anyway. If you really want to address that now then please commit a revert in feature/jessie.

Not a problem for Jessie… no point on fixing it then.
