Description

I’m not sure how to phrase this, but on a Tails USB stick you can only have Tails and use it with Tails. This will be explained a bit and implied in the Installation Assistant but I feel like it’s a common question or misunderstanding (see Feature #10177 for example). What do support people think?

If we add an FAQ for that we could mention that have USB stick dedicated to Tails is actually safe as it makes it harder for other OSes to fool around with your sensitive stuff.

We don’t really know what other distributions will do while booted, and what I find most bothering is that also you cannot have a Persistent Volume neither (I guess multiboot cannot be done with the Tails installer…)

It would be great to have this, but I’m not going to work on it.

Downgrading priority. I don’t think it’s neede to document this personally.

People keep asking this kind of question, so maybe we should document it.
