Cannot download pdf from Tor Browser using download button

Description

Sine Tails 1.5, when viewing a pdf file in Tor Browser, you can’t download it using the download button of the pdf viewer.
You can achieve it doing right-click -> save as….

It worked in Tails 1.4.1, and the bug has been reproduced on Tor Browser 5.O. In fact it’s already tracked in their own bug tracker:

I think we should clarify our policy regarding duplicating tickets between the Tor Browser’s bug tracker and ours.

I would propose something like:

  • if the bug was reported first on our side and is unknown upstream, keep it and set Type of Work = Wait;
  • if the bug is already tracked on Tor Browser’s side, don’t create a duplicate here unless we need it (e.g. as a blocker for a feature we’re working on).

The same could apply to Debian bugs.
