I don’t remember/know exactly what kind of publication you had in mind (blog post? blueprint? tweet? anything else?), but Feature #7649#note-26 should be up-to-date and help you a bit, I hope.

I have a blueprint which i’ll use as a draft before creating it into a blogpost! I’ll mark it as Q/A for review, when that is done, hopefully it can be published as a blogpost.

grsecurity is can no longer be distributed as Free Software, this issue can be closed

Yup, I agree, since it’s closed source, and the future of forks is uncertain, closing for now. Maybe the future looks bright again at some point.
